Hello; thank you for yout interest in my articles. My name is Ernesto Mendoza and I am the CEO & Founder of Animikind Limited and the developer of the Ecosystema.Â

Our aim is to create a space for reflection and discussion that supports the psychological and emotional health of students, teachers and families, fostering a safe, positive and inspiring learning environment. As you read through these publications, I’ll share my thoughts and experiences, along with my professional perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing the education sector today.Â

About my BackgroundÂ
 My journey to founding Animikind was not born in a tech incubator, but through years of navigating the complexities of human behaviour, law, and public protection within the British system.
My foundational training as a Lawyer instilled in me a rigorous respect for advocacy and the statutory frameworks that govern our society. However, I soon realised that the law tells us what happened, but Behavioural Psychology tells us why. This led me to pursue my Master’s in Behavioural Psychology, a discipline that allowed me to decode the subtle nuances of human intent and distress.
This academic background was put to the test during my tenure within HM Probation. Working within the British justice system, I witnessed firsthand the tragic outcomes that occur when early signs of vulnerability are missed. I saw how reactive systems often fail those they are meant to protect. It became my mission to move the intervention point from "too late" to "early enough to change a life."
Recognising that the sheer volume of digital data in modern schools can overwhelm even the most dedicated safeguarding team, I completed my Master’s in Artificial Intelligence here in the UK. My goal was specific: to develop an Emotional AI that acts as a force multiplier for empathy, not a replacement for it.
I built the Animikind Ecosystem to bridge the gap between my legal background in protection, my psychological understanding of behaviour, and the preventative power of AI. I am committed to ensuring that our technology serves your vocation, providing the 360° clarity needed to keep every child safe, seen, and supported.
